Ireland - refurbishment and modernisation of medium and low voltage network (NRP)

In Ireland SAG Elbud Gdansk Holding S.A. together with his Irish partner took a part in a large project of refurbishment and modernisation of medium and low voltage ESB network.
The scope of works comprised replacement of:

• wooden poles with stays
• wires
• pole x-arms with insulation
• one and three phase transformers with accessories

Fourteen two-person teams involved in the works using 14 off-road vehicles. In addition, the construction supported by two technical vehicles and two SAHLINS power winches. Teams operated in the southeastern part of Ireland, near Waterford, New Ross and Wexford.
