The beginnings of our company go back to the year 1949 when the Zakład Okręgowy in Gdańsk was created as a part of a government company 'Państwowe Budownictwo Elektryczne” based in Kraków. Since 1990, the smaller companies comprising the larger parent government company, have begun to work towards independence. And so, in May 1995, the company Elbud Gdańsk Holding SA. was created.  On the 31^st of May 2006 was changed the name of company into SAG Elbud Gdańsk Holding SA. We wanted to emphasize our affiliation to SAG Group that is one of the leading service provider in the power system infrastructure sector in Europe.
Since the beginning of our company, we have been taking part in the construction, renovation and modernization of industry power lines and distribution grids in Poland and in Europe. After starting EGH S.A., we have expanded our offer to include two new areas: telecommunications infrastructure services and providing digital documentation.
 
Currently SAG Elbud Gdańsk Holding SA, employing over 250 persons and has an annual sales budget of around 60 M PLN, is one of the biggest power distribution and telecommunications construction companies in Poland.
