The Versuchs- und Technologiezentrum of SAG GmbH (SAG VTZ) [Research and Technology Centre], is a manufacturer-independent, accredited test institute for the examination of components, modules and complex systems of energy supply. We examine the operating capability and safety of systems and analyse the interplay of individual components and systems.

Since the founding of SAG VTZ in 1969, we have built up unique know-how. Through examinations and damage analyses, many diverse experiences have been made, for example about the remaining service life of components and possibilities for extension of their life-span.

As a manufacturer-independent service provider and partner, we also develop in our company-own VTZ new procedures for the refurbishment and upgrading of existing supply infrastructure from technical, economical and ecological points of view.
